B&B/Rural Hotel El Molino Santisteban

El Molino Santisteban is located on the river El Río Grande and along the beautiful road from Málaga to Ronda. Surrounded by orange and olive groves, near the beautiful nature reserve Sierra de Las Nieves and the picturesque Moorish towns of Guaro and Tolox.

In the middle of the Andalusian interior but still central. It is only a 45 minute drive from Málaga airport, 60 minutes to Ronda and 25 minutes to the beaches of Marbella.

El Molino Santisteban is built in authentic Andalusian style around a covered patio with a fountain and is located next to the 600-year-old water mill where the owners live. Water is omnipresent here in the nearby river, but also via the water channels (acequias) that used to power the water mill. This provides a very green, fertile and cooling environment, especially in the warmer summer months.

All six spacious double rooms have a bathroom and are situated around the patio and have a beautiful view over the vast landscape. In the richly covered garden there are many shade and sun spots and a swimming pool to cool off in. In the background, the flowing water of El Río Grande and the water mill are always gently present. Along El Río Grande and in the surrounding hills you can enjoy unlimited walking and enjoy special bird species or encounter a sunbathing turtle.

Next to the swimming pool is the bathhouse where the self-service bar is always open and the guest kitchen is located. In the evening we serve a three-course menu on request, outside on one of the terraces in nice weather and otherwise in the large dining room in our water mill.

From El Molino Santisteban there are numerous cultural, sporting and active opportunities such as a visit to Ronda or Granada, walking, cycling and horse riding in the immediate area.
